1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how PDF Editor: OCR, Merge & Batch ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the App. The App provides PDF viewing, PDF editing, file conversion, OCR, batch processing, watermark, encryption, and related document tools.
2. Files and content you choose
The App may access PDF files, images, camera photos, and output folders that you select through the Android system file picker or camera flow. These files are used to provide the document features you request, such as previewing a PDF, recognizing text, converting images to PDF, merging files, splitting files, adding watermarks, encrypting PDFs, or saving results.
We do not require you to create an account. The App is designed to process your selected documents primarily on your device. We do not sell your documents or personal information.
3. Permissions
The App may use internet access to support advertising, Google Play subscription services, and related platform services. When you choose camera-based OCR, the App may request camera access so you can capture an image for recognition. File access is handled through Android's system file picker or document access framework.
4. OCR and document processing
The App uses Google ML Kit text recognition libraries to recognize text from selected images or captured photos. Recognition is used to show and export text results inside the App.
5. Advertising
The free version of the App may show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interaction data, diagnostics, and other information according to Google's policies. 6. Purchases and subscriptions
The App uses Google Play Billing to provide subscriptions and membership features. Purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Subscription status may be used inside the App to unlock paid features, remove ads, raise usage limits, or remove export watermarks.
7. Data sharing
We may share limited information with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate App features, including Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, and Google ML Kit. These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and service terms.
8. Data retention
Files you create or export are saved to locations you choose on your device. Temporary files or cached results may be stored locally to support previews and processing. You can delete exported files using your device's file manager or other system tools.
9. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us.
